Magic: The Gathering - Tarkir: Drachensturm Mardu Onslaught Commander Deck - German

The Magic: The Gathering Tarkir Drachensturm Mardu Onslaught Commander Deck is a good choice if you're looking for a German-language Commander product that's ready to play right out of the box. Instead of having to put the cards together first, you get a complete Deck from Tarkir: Drachensturm that you can use for Commander games right away. It's especially convenient for Players who collect Magic in German or want to keep their cards consistent. The product also appeals to collectors who want to keep a complete MTG Deck from a clearly named set.

Commander thrives on well-built decks, but not everyone wants to build one themselves. That’s where Mardu Ansturm shines: you get a ready-to-play Deck with Accessories, so there’s nothing to gather before your first game. This saves time and makes it easier to get started with the format, especially if you’re new to it or simply looking for a second Deck for spontaneous game nights. For many Magic Players, it’s the most convenient way to buy a new product.

With Magic cards, Language often matters more than you might think. If you keep your Collection in German, you’ll usually want to stick with that for your Commander decks, too. Mardu Onslaught is a particularly good fit, as the card text, inserts, and overall impression all work together. This is especially appealing to Collectors who like to keep their editions neatly organized, but also to Players who prefer to read the rules and card text in their own Language. That makes the product easy to enjoy while still being worthy of a collection.

Many buyers aren't just looking for any Deck, but for a product that clearly belongs to a particular set. Tarkir: Drachensturm makes that easy, because you get a Deck that's clearly tied to the set. This is appealing to Collectors who want to complete a series deliberately, and to Players who want to experience a set as a complete product. Commander decks are especially well suited to this, because they bring the set and gameplay together in an easy-to-understand way.

Includes 100 cards: 98 non-foil cards and 2 traditional foil legendary cards. It also comes with a Collector Booster Sample Pack containing 2 cards, 10 double-sided token cards, a Deck Box for 100 sleeved cards, a strategy insert, and a reference card. This mix is practical for everyday use because you get not just a Deck, but useful Accessories as well. For Commander Players, that’s a clear advantage over buying loose cards alone.

If you want a ready-to-play experience, a Commander Deck is clearly the better choice. Individual cards make the most sense when you’re already working on an existing list or want to improve a Deck in a targeted way. Mardu Onslaught, on the other hand, is the better choice if you want to buy a complete Magic Deck that works right away. This saves you the trouble of searching for individual cards and gives you a product that’s easy to understand both when opening it and when playing.

Anyone who collects Magic cards in German usually looks for products like these, since their Language and set are clearly identifiable. A Commander Deck from Tarkir: Drachensturm is a great example, as it can be added to a Collection as a complete product. Even if you play the Deck later, it remains a clearly defined piece from the set. This clarity is what makes German Commander products appealing to many Collectors.

For Players, the answer is simple: the Deck is made to be opened and played. But for Collectors, it can be just as interesting to keep the product unopened in a German Magic Collection. Whether you use it right away or keep it as a sealed Commander Deck depends on what you want from Tarkir: Drachensturm. Either way makes sense, as long as the product fits your Collection or your next Commander night.
