Warning about fake shops and fraudulent cardcosmos websites

Important security notice from cardcosmos GmbH: We are aware of websites that attempt to create the impression that they are affiliated with cardcosmos by using similarly spelled names, our brand, our products, or our company information.

We particularly warn against websites that appear, for example, under the name “cardcusmos.” “cardcusmos” is not cardcosmos. Such websites are not operated by cardcosmos GmbH, are not authorized by us, and have no business connection with us.

We expressly advise you not to place orders, enter payment details, or submit personal data through a website operating under the name cardcusmos.

cardcusmos is not affiliated with cardcosmos

The correct spelling of our brand is:

cardcosmos

A spelling such as cardcusmos is not associated with our company. Due to the similarity, it can easily create the impression that it is an official cardcosmos shop or sales channel. This is not the case.

cardcosmos GmbH has not granted the operators of such websites permission to pose as cardcosmos or create the impression of a business connection with us.

Our official cardcosmos websites

Our official German online shop is:

cardcosmos.de

We also operate the following official country domains:

cardcosmos.de
cardcosmos.at
cardcosmos.ch
cardcosmos.es
cardcosmos.fr
cardcosmos.it
cardcosmos.nl
cardcosmos.pl

The respective versions with www. may also lead to our official shops.

If a website uses a similar-sounding name but is not accessible under one of our official cardcosmos domains, you should exercise particular caution.

How to identify potential fake shops

Typosquatting or imitation websites often change just individual letters of a well-known brand. This can make an internet address appear genuine at first glance.

For example, look out for:

transposed or substituted letters,
additional or missing letters,
spellings such as “cardcusmos” instead of “cardcosmos”,
unusual domains or domains not associated with cardcosmos,
contact addresses that do not belong to our official domains,
websites that use our brand, product images, or company information even though they are not operated by us.

Check the internet address before placing an order

Before ordering from an alleged cardcosmos shop, always check the spelling of the domain in your browser’s address bar.

The brand name must be spelled correctly as cardcosmos.

If you are unsure, access our shop directly via cardcosmos.de instead of following an unknown link from a search engine, advertisement, email, or social media post.

Have you found a suspicious website?

If you come across a website that creates the impression of being affiliated with cardcosmos even though it is not accessible under one of our official domains, please contact us.

The following information is particularly helpful:

the internet address of the suspicious website,
a screenshot,
information about where you found the website or link,
if applicable, details of an order placed there.

Please contact us through our official contact options at cardcosmos.de, or email us at support@cardcosmos.de

Have you already placed an order with a suspicious website?

If you have already placed an order on a website using a similarly spelled name such as cardcusmos or entered payment details there, we recommend contacting your payment provider or bank as soon as possible.

Do not enter any further personal data or payment information on the website in question.
