The new Disney Lorcana set “Unbekannte Wildnis”

With Disney Lorcana Unbekannte Wildnis, a new chapter begins in Ravensburger’s popular trading card game. The set is the series’ twelfth main release and brings many new cards to the game, including Pixar characters for the first time. The set will be released on May 15, 2026, with Prerelease taking place a week earlier, on May 8, 2026.

The set’s central motto is “Stay Together”. In the set’s story, various Glimmers embark on a dangerous journey through unfamiliar landscapes to find their way home together. This very idea is also reflected in the gameplay. New card combinations and strategies reward teamwork and clever deck planning.

For Players, this means one thing above all: more options for Deck building and new tactical options in the game.

New Disney and Pixar Characters in the Set

One of the greatest strengths of Disney Lorcana is its iconic characters. Fans can look forward to familiar faces and new ones in the Unbekannte Wildnis set, too.

Among others, the following characters have already appeared in the first card previews:

Buzz Lightyear
The Queen
Mrs. Incredible
Jack-Jack Parr

It's clear: for the first time, classic Disney characters are coming together with characters from the Pixar worlds. The inclusion of characters from Toy Story and The Incredibles, appearing in the Lorcana universe for the first time, is especially exciting.

For Collectors in particular, cards like these are often highlights of a set. New illustrations, alternate versions of familiar characters, and rare cards make every Booster Display an exciting journey of discovery.

A look at the first preview cards

The first images from the card preview already give a good impression of where the set is heading.

The particularly striking thing is how dynamically the new cards are designed. The illustrations depict adventure, nature, and dangerous environments. This fits perfectly with the theme of the unknown wilderness.

For Players, this also means:

new synergies between characters
fresh strategies for existing decks
exciting combinations of different Ink colors
more possibilities for creative deck ideas

In competitive Lorcana Decks in particular, individual new cards can quickly influence the meta. That's why many Players closely follow every card preview early on.

Which products are being released for the set?

As with every new Lorcana Release, several products are also being released with Unbekannte Wildnis. They are aimed at both Players and Collectors.

Lorcana Booster Display “Unbekannte Wildnis”

Lorcana Illumineers Trove for the set

Alongside boosters, a matching Lorcana collector box will also be available for the set. These boxes usually contain a mix of Booster packs and Accessories.

They're ideal for Players who want to store their cards safely or organize their Collection neatly. They also offer a great way to open several Booster packs from the new set at once.

Why a Lorcana Preorder is worthwhile

New Lorcana sets often sell out quickly, especially shortly after Release. That's why many Collectors and Players secure their products early.

If you want to secure Booster displays or Collector boxes, a Lorcana Preorder is worthwhile for several reasons:

You get products right at Release
You won't miss any new cards
You can experiment with new decks early
You secure Displays before they sell out
