Disney Lorcana Set 11 – Winterzauber: All the Details

Disney Lorcana – Set 11 Winterzauber: Everything we know so far

With Disney Lorcana Set 11 – Winterzauber, a thematically magical TCG set arrives, transforming the world of Lorcana into a frosty, fairytale-like, atmospheric winter landscape. The set builds on Ravensburger’s successful series and brings new characters, fresh mechanics, and special winter artwork to the Lorcana universe.

Set 11 once again features strong Disney licenses, iconic characters, and charming designs – this time in a wintry style with frosty effects, ice magic, snowy landscapes, and new Glimmers that are perfect for the cold season.

Release & basic information about Lorcana Set 11

Official information suggests that Set 11 will be released as part of the usual Lorcana release cycle: a new main set every three months. “Winterzauber” is an ideal fit for the winter quarter Release slot.

• Set number: Lorcana – Set 11
• Theme: winter, ice magic, frosty landscapes, seasonal characters
• Products: Booster Display, Starter decks, Illumineer’s Trove, gift sets, Accessories
• Card format: compatible with all previous sets

As usual, the set will be released in two waves – first in specialty stores, shortly afterward in broader European retail.

Which characters can we expect?

Even though not all the cards have been officially revealed yet, it’s clear that Disney characters with winter, ice, or snow themes play a central role. Realistically, we can expect:

• Elsa & Anna (Frozen) – an iconic choice for a winter set
• Olaf & Kristoff
• Mickey & Minnie in winter outfits
• Scrooge McDuck / Dagobert Duck in a Christmas or winter variant
• Winter Glimmers of well-known Lorcana legends

Set 11 in particular is likely to appeal to many Collectors, as winter variants are traditionally very popular and stand out visually.

Game mechanics & possible new effects

Lorcana introduces new keywords or interactions with every set. The following mechanics are especially plausible for a winter set like “Winterzauber”:

• Frost or ice effects – restrictions on opposing characters
• Temporary freezing mechanics – character remains unready
• Seasonal synergies – bonus when multiple “Winter” or “Ice” Glimmers are in the Deck
• New songs – e.g. winter classics or themed spells

The set is expected to introduce new archetypes across all six Lorcana colors and significantly impact the meta once again.

Products in Lorcana Set 11 Winterzauber

The Trove and Gift Sets are once again the Collectors highlights of the Release.

Collector Value & Market Interest

Lorcana sets have been among the most sought-after TCG products on the market since Release. Winter themes traditionally attract strong demand because they:

• have a strong visual theme
• be collected seasonally (Winter/Holiday specials)
• produce popular Glimmer variants

Fans expect Set 11 to once again include several chase cards, similar to the popular Enchanted cards from previous sets.
